Dr. E. Kirsten Peters is a native of the rural Northwest, but was trained as
a geologist at Princeton and Harvard. She has studied field evidence of Ice
Age climate and catastrophes, as well as researched gold concentrations in
and around gold mines in the West. She’s taught college students off and on
for years, but now more of her time goes into writing about all branches of
